Cyanobacteria are a biological soil crust that play an important role in the growth of rangeland plants. These micro-organisms play a role in stimulating growth in germination of seeds and have a significant impact on the growth of rangeland plants. In this study, the effect of different concentrations of cyanobacteria as one of the soil crust on the growth and percentage of appearance of Agropyrun desertorum as a dominant species in Galegongak pasture located in the JamAbroud watershed has been investigated. In order to find the effect of various cyanobacteria on the appearance of the species, existing cyanobacteria were collected by sampling of soil surface horizons, located at depth (0-2 cm). Then samples were purified in the laboratory. This purification was continued to the genus and finally the 3 genera of the cyanobacter was detected. In the next step, three different concentrations of cyanobacteria including 10^12, 10^10 and 10^8 cells of cyanobacteria in one liter of water were prepared and sprayed directly. Then the seeds of this species were grown and the effect of different concentrations of cyanobacteria on the seedling growth was studied. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the control and treated plots by cyanobacterial in terms of growth of Agropyrun desertorum species. Also, except for the percentage of appearance, which had the highest effect in the concentration of 10^12 cyanobacteria, the remaining parameters including aerial part length, root length, aerial part biomass and root biomass the best performances were seen in the concentration of 10^8 cyanobacteria.
